Calvin Klein CK One Shock for Him

Smelling Calvin Klein CK One Shock for Him is like revisiting some weird soda pop you loved as a kid: at first you're taken aback by how patently synthetic it is, then you're seduced anew by its cheap charms.

CK One Shock for Him smells beguilingly of the cream soda version of Ambre Narguilé by Hermès.

CK One Shock for Him is available from Perfume.com and BeautyEncounter.com, starting at $50 for 3.4 oz

  1. Howdy Bright Angel Katie: What a co-winky, dinky – I just bought CK Be on Friday and tried it out. I did my due diligence and researched it first on YouTube and all fragrance websites and 99% of the people really liked it. I am now a part of that percentage and I really LOVE this stuff. El Cheapo, too. There is no longevity to it; however, if you spray it on your shirt collar it seems to extend the life of it. It is very fresh and different and everyone I encountered at worked said they loved it.

So, CK 1 SHOCKED sounds really bizarre and crazy. Thank you for keeping all of us up to date on the most current releases. We are all very appreciative of your efforts.

I am guessing you would not buy it. Or would you……….

Have a great week, my dear!!!~ Please tell Diane that I am still praying for her.

    Respectfully,

    Byron…………

  2. Ah! the dreaded "ex" perfume. He didn't wear it, he gifted it to me. I was ever so touched he'd even think to feed my fragrance habit, but he'd seen the stuff i was wearing and i can't think why he thought i might dig a CK (I abhor the original CKone)
Just revisited my bottle, this stuff wraps its cream-soda-aluminum-can-fingers round my throat and won't let up. This stuff CLOYS!

  3. Aww, CK Be was the perfume that inadvertently tripped me into the rabbit hole of fragrance obsession; I bought it on a whim knowing nothing next to zilch about fragrances, looked it up online, and the rest is...a blur.

As for Shock, I find it a little too sweet/fruity for my tastes, although the ambery drydown is nice. But I get my cuddly-amber fixes elsewhere. Plus, I seem to smell Shock everywhere lately.

  4. Hello, Katie!

It's Mirel from Romania, again!:) Well I'm not some sort of a dictator, but I command you to test One Shock for Him side by side with Samsara-Guerlain.I guess you would get a very sensual sandalwood note, especially in the hot weather. It completes the honeyed tobacco accord found in Back To Black(Aphrodisiac). Also, it is listed in the notes the osmanthus note: and yes, I can smell an apricot with a floral note. Yet, I find the opening very cheap smelling, but luckily it fades fast. This is not 1 Million. And may I repeat, even if it's sweet, it's more sensual and interesting in the hot weather than cold weather. In cold weather, the opening fruity-redbull-strawberry accord lasts more and the woody-sensual note is very subdued. Please let me know what you think after you test it:). The Shock comes from the fact that CK is a very dull fragrance house: even their obsession( for men) is inspired by opium and must de cartier, and yes- very cinnamony ( cinnamon bun- anyone- or some cini minnies?). And again, it is one of the cheapest calvin kleins that could sell for a niche price point:). Love It;)
