Perfume Giveaway: Annick Goutal Le Mimosa

I've been banging on about Annick Goutal Le Mimosa ever since I featured it in my Favorite Spring Scents TV segment on Fox 5 San Diego back in March. I'm fascinated by how this sweet mimosa bouquet combines grassy freshness and the juiciest peach with the “frisky personal time” smells of musk and sandalwood. (For a full review, click here.) There's no reason why Le Mimosa's splendor in the grass needs to stop now that we're moving into summer (here in the northern hemisphere, anyway!) That's why -- with the help of Rodrigo the Perfume Dog -- I'm giving away a brand-new bottle of Le Mimosa (courtesy of Annick Goutal.) Here are giveaway details...

  1. Katie, I'm a cranky, Middle Ages type of gal (which means I don't tweet) but I still love you! And I love, love, love Rodrigo! Has he joined you before for reviews? Can he always help you out? May I ask what kind of dog he is? Adorable! And I guess I'll have to try my luck with the Perfumed Court for Le Mimosa.

  2. Denise, I wasn't sure if you meant "Middle Ages" in the sense of wenches bearing tankards of ale, but I'm with you now. Rodrigo the Perfume Dog (a freakishly large Lhasa Apso) is back from a long video hiatus, but he has indeed joined me on many occasions: always for giveaways and winners announcements. I need to put him in the blog index for easy access to all his appearances. For now what you can do is click on the Rodrigo link in the post above, and also click on "Playlists" on my YouTube front page to see all the Rodrigo giveaway vids.

  3. Dear Rodrigo -

It's good that Momma has boundaries, doesn't pull pricey perfume out your hindquarters, and doubly so if that perfume is a giveaway. And bonus! She lets you dance, just like that night in Vienna.

Yes, Rodrigo, you broke some hearts that evening. *Sob*
I'm fine, thanks, how kind of you to ask.

    I must go now.

  5. Hi Katie Darling! Based on your review of Le Mimosa and my adoration of all things Goutal, I recently ordered a bottle of the Eau de Toilette from perfume.com. It is GLORIOUS! And I have never in my entire life received so many compliments on a fragrance. Seriously. It's almost embarrassing -- somebody will say, "Wow -- who smells so wonderful?" And I just stand there and stick out my wrist... because, of course, it is ME.
P.S. I've never seen Rodrigo before (will have to go check out his archives) but what a snuggly love. And those dancin' feet...

beth001 - wow! Great feedback (for you as well as me) on Le Mimosa satisfaction. It seems those who love it REALLY love it.

  8. Pip, that is perfectly annoying. I'm sure it will turn up when it senses you've forgotten all about it.

  10. One woman's "frisky personal time" is another man's "filthy slop."
